·          Annual Jog-a-thon

The major fund raiser for the school year is our annual Jog-A-Thon, a tradition for over 15 years at St. Louis School. The Jog-A-Thon is held early in October. A custom made track is laid out on the school grounds where one lap is equivalent to approximately 1/4 mile. Each student is challenged to get people to sponsor them per lap or for a straight donation. The proceeds from this fund raiser are used for improvements, equipment and technology that help to enrich our school.

·          Catholic Schools Week

Catholic Schools Week is celebrated during the last week in Janurary. The week begins on Sunday at the 9:00 Mass where students and faculty participate in a special Liturgy where the theme of Catholic Schools Week is integrated throughout the Mass. Immediately following Mass, an Open House is held where parents, students and potential students alike can visit classrooms, view family projects and student displays, and ask questions regarding a Catholic School education. Registration for the following school year officially opens on this day. The annual Book Fair starts and continues throughout the week offering all an opportunity to purchase new books.

Each day of Catholic Schools Week has a special theme.  Examples include: Teacher Appreciation Day, Student Appreciation Day, Career Day, and Mystery Teacher Day. The week typically ends with an early dismissal on Friday at 11 A.M.
